Professional growers use calcium in every feed they give to fruits and fruiting vegetables as calcium is so vital to success, however you rarely see it - even the best tomato, fruit, or vegetable feeds.

Most home gardeners suffer from blossom end rot as tomatoes are so demanding for calcium especially if they are using rainwater.

Gro-Expert Organic Liquid Calcium is the ultimate organic source of calcium available to professional growers across the world and now we bring it to the home gardener. Exclusively developed and produced by Gro-Expert, Organic Liquid Calcium (10% Ca) is organic chelated calcium which means it is pure calcium that can be mixed with any feed to boost calcium levels to optimum. It comes from pure tree sap which rich in calcium and other minerals and plant sugars and extracts which not only will provide calcium but will provide support for the health of your plants.

Gro-Expert Organic Calcium is available in 250ml and 500ml dual chambered bottles for ease of measurement and should be used in every watering at 5-10ml per 10litre of water applied to the roots of plants.

How to use Organic Calcium

Add 5ml of the Calcium to 10L of water. Apply with every watering from when regular feeding begins.  For best results apply alongside Gro-Expert Professional Feed.

This nutrient is one of the most important for fruit as it strengthens every cell and helps keep them fresh for longer once picked. 

This calcium is unique to Gro-Expert and will help you build the tastiest fruits. 

10L is equivalent to a 2 gallon watering can. For 1 gallon can, please use half rate. Shake well before use.

 Top Tip

Calcium uptake is controlled by the plant process transpiration which is the evaporation of water from the plant stomata on the underside of leaves. If transpiration is affected by cooler weather or extreme hot weather calcium uptake is dramatically slowed. We recommend, to help your fruiting plants, apply foliar applications of Gro-Expert Organic Calcium on top of the regular feeding during extremely hot weather or when it is cold at night. For best results use 5mls per litre of spray and apply very 7-10 days.
