When planting container grown plants, quite often plants will struggle to root due to changes in root environment. Also planting or potting in spring onward can create issues with establishment due to water requirement. This is especially important if laying turf in spring as it can struggle to root down or will shrink at the edges. Root Booster can be used as a root dip for bare rooted plantings or as a drench when watering in. It is safe to use on any plant and can be used to boost root growth throughout the season.
Gro-Expert Root Booster is available in a 500ml dual chambered bottle for ease of measurement and should be used at 5ml per 10 litres for cuttings, seeds, and bare root dips and up to 20ml per 10litres of water for watering on trees, shrubs herbaceous plants or newly laid turf. For larger subjects we recommend 2-3 applications over a 6–8-week period as this will ensure the best start for the plants in their new home.

How to use Root Booster
For cuttings, seeds and bare root dips – add 5ml of Root Booster to 10L of water and use liberally.
For pots and containers use – add 10ml of Root Booster to 10L of water and use liberally.
For larger plants and new turf – add 20ml to 10L of water and drench ground well.
Root Booster is a natural tree sap so will pass all the benefits of the sap to stimulate the rooting process. Use three times every 4-6 weeks for best results.
10L is equivalent to a 2 gallon watering can. For 1 gallon can, please use half rate. Shake well before use.
Top Tip
For the best start for planting of larger trees and shrubs or new turf, regular watering is required to ensure establishment. However, if recent years have taught us anything it is that the weather cannot be relied upon and having summer type conditions in spring now appears to be an annual event. This places great pressure on establishing plantings, so support is needed to help.
