Our Professional Flower Feed has been created to bring the advanced feeds used by professional flower and nursery growers to the home gardener to grow superb blooms. This super concentrated feed contains all the essential macro and micronutrients required by all flowering plants and comes in a highly available form.
Our super concentrated flower feed has the strongest analysis (5-5-10+0.3MgO) on the market and will provide as much as two and half times the feed of market leading products from garden centres. Gro-Expert Professional Flower Feed’s nutrient package is supported by a generous level of an ascophyllum seaweed harvested from the stormy waters of the Scottish islands to supply a unique blend of natural minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and essential amino acids which will support nutrient uptake by the roots, movement of water and nutrients around the plant and will boost the overall health of your plants. Gro-Expert Flower Feed can be used for all flowering plants grown in the soil or in pots and containers using growing media such as coir or peat free compost.
The Professional Flower Feed is available in 500ml and 1.0 litres in dual chambered bottles for ease of measurement and should be used in every watering at 1.0ml per litre of water applied to the roots of plants.
How to use Flower Feed
Add 10ml of the feed to 10L of water.
Apply with every other watering from when the plants have active growth and apply at least every 2 to 4 weeks.
The most important part of growing plants, and often the most neglected, is regular feeding. All plants need lots of nutrients to build strong growth, so Gro-Expert Feed uses both nutrients and seaweed in a concentrated form.
10L is equivalent to a 2 gallon watering can. For 1 gallon can, please use half rate. Shake well before use.
Top Tips
To produce amazing blooms in pots or baskets it is important to water and feed regularly as they have limited root room and can soon become hungry and lose size and colour and flowers number drop.
To optimise water and feed retention in your baskets and pots we recommend adding Gro-Expert Aqualatus water saving liquid every 2-4 weeks to at 5mls per 10L (2 gallon) watering can. This unique blend of biodegradable liquid polymers keeps compost moist, prevents shrinking of compost and provides even distribution of nutrients for superb blooms.
