Our Professional Berry Feed has been created to bring the advanced feeds used by professional strawberry and raspberry growers to the home gardener to grow amazing juicy fruits. This super concentrated berry feed contains all the essential macro and micronutrients required by all berry crops (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and currants) and comes in a highly available form.
Berry Feed includes ascophyllum seaweed harvested from the stormy waters of the Scottish islands to supply a unique blend of natural minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and all the essential amino acids.
Supports nutrient uptake by the roots, nutrient movement around the plant and boost the health by your berry plants. Suitable for berries grown in the soil or in growing media’s such as coir or peat free compost. The Dual chambered bottles for ease of measurement and should be used in every watering at 1.0ml per litre of water applied to the roots of plants.
How to use Berry Feed
Add 10ml of the feed to 10L of water. Apply with every watering from when the plants have active growth.
The most important part of growing berries, and often the most neglected, is regular feeding. All berries need lots of nutrients to build strong plants, so Gro-Expert Feed uses both nutrients and seaweed in a concentrated form.
10L is equivalent to a 2 gallon watering can. For 1 gallon can, please use half rate. Shake well before use.
Top Tips
New varieties of berry plants are very demanding so require lots of nutrients to produce lots of flowers and berries so it’s important to feed regularly especially if they are grown in pots or growbags. Two nutrients’ berries need in higher levels are calcium and magnesium as they are building strong berries with lots of sugar and these two nutrients are essential as they support growing cells and move the natural sugars created during photosynthesis.
